Ray DeMott is the Founder and Managing Member of DeMott Development, a Savannah-based commercial real estate company specializing in industrial, logistics, office, retail, and investment properties throughout Coastal Georgia, Texas, and Florida. With more than 40 years of experience in commercial real estate, transportation, and business development, Ray has built a reputation for identifying strategic opportunities, creating value through development and redevelopment, and successfully navigating complex transactions in some of the Southeast's fastest-growing markets.
Ray's deep understanding of the Savannah region, particularly the Port of Savannah and its surrounding industrial corridors, has enabled him to acquire, develop, and manage a diverse portfolio of industrial parks, trucking terminals, warehouses, office developments, and retail properties. His hands-on approach, extensive market knowledge, and strong relationships within the business community have made him a trusted partner for investors, tenants, and development partners alike.
Brian Gary
Vice President of Operations
Brian has served as Vice President of Operations at DeMott Development since 2016, where he leads the company’s operational strategy. In his role, Brian manages key relationships with tenants and service providers while working closely with executive leadership on property acquisitions, business analytics, and strategic asset evaluation.
As a lifelong Savannah resident, Brian brings deep market insight and a strong understanding of the regional real estate landscape, allowing him to play a critical role in the company’s continued growth and operational success.
Before joining DeMott Development, Brian built a highly successful career spanning more than two decades in technical sales, consistently delivering top-tier performance while representing several Fortune 500 companies.
Brian holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and English from Presbyterian College. His professional background reflects a strong foundation in leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence. He is also a member of the Savannah Yacht Club.
